Try to Hold Your Tears While Watching This Royal Family Movie
Sweetness, but The Narrative Appears Outdated!
Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' has finally arrived & is the Big Diwali release of the twelvemonth. Merely is information technology worth all the hype? The answer is, partly yes, partly no!
Reason? While Barjatya's story is undeniably sweetness, the narrative'south structure appears outdated & the excessive running-fourth dimension (169-minutes), spoils the fun. Yet, Salman charms equally Prem & enacts dual-roles, endearingly.
'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' Synopsis: Later a King (Salman) is nearly killed by his jealous step-brother (Neil Nitin Mukesh), a Lookalike (Salman, Once again) fills his shoes. While there, the Lookalike, now posing as the King, falls for the princess & the King's bride to be (Sonam Kapoor).
'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' is great to look at & the message of the moving-picture show, that being, love should e'er win over hate, is heartening. But, the storytelling comes along with an Erratic Screenplay & also many songs, that, sadly, don't add together much to the film. Barjatya's Screenplay is sweet & some sequences (Peculiarly in the first-hr), hold your attention completely. The 2nd-hour loses grip & the songs keep popping upwards a bit too soon & stretch the film, without adding whatsoever weight to the drama.
Likewise, Barjatya'southward Screenplay has multiple sub-plots & not all engage. The i that appeals is the one involving Salman'south estranged step-sister (played by a wonderful Swara Bhaskar). The sub-plot of the villains (Neil Nitin Mukesh & Armaan Kohli), doesn't really piece of work. In short, Barjatya'due south Writing appeals in $.25 & pieces, not entirely.
Barjatya'south Direction is simplistic, simply has a dated vibe to it. Nevertheless, He'south handled a number of sequences, especially the dramatic ones, with control. 5. Manikandan's Cinematography is one thousand. The Lensman has captured the huge canvas, wonderfully. Sanjay Sankla'due south Editing needed to be crisper. The motion-picture show is a fleck too long & could've easily been trimmed down by at least 25-minutes. Art & Costume Design are fantastic. Himesh Reshammiya's Music is skilful. Activity-Sequences are finely choreographed.
Performance-Wise: Its Salman all the manner, The Superstar is at his most endearing equally Prem, the clean-hearted soul, who spreads love everywhere. Fifty-fifty as the Rex, he's done quite well. Its a delight to watch him, from outset to cease. Sonam Kapoor is nice & looks beautiful throughout. Anupam Kher is fantastic. His esprit with Salman, is fun to watch. Deepak Dobriyal is some other topper. He brings in a lot of laughs, through his goofy portrayal as Prem's all-time friend. Swara Bhaskar is graceful, every bit always. Neil Nitin Mukesh & Armaan Kohli are strictly okay as the villains. Others lend adequate support.
On the whole, 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' isn't a wholesome entertainer, only a decent sentinel nonetheless.

Old Wine in New Bottle
Warning: Spoilers
Sooraj Bharjatya debutted as a director with Maine Pyaar Kiya(1989) followed by Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain both films having moralistic values about joint families and looking similar yet people lapped especially the first one up, as well HAHK released when Salman was going through a bad phase and the motion-picture show gave him a blockbuster. After HSSH, Sooraj made MPKDh which ranks amidst his worst films ever, followed by VIvah which was a hit. PRDP marks his comeback with Sallu later xvi years at the all-time time possible as Salman is going through a phenomenal phase at the B.O Salman is paired opp Sonam Kapoor after Saawariya, it too has Neil Nitin Mukesh and the virtually forgotten Armaan Kohli(got the part due to Large Boss) The moving-picture show nonetheless is quondam wine in new bottle and has goose egg extraordinary about it. The movie has an age onetime story and follows the aforementioned concept SB tried earlier, for a change after a long fourth dimension since MPK nosotros have a Sooraj Bharjatya film with activity. We accept stereotypical broken family ties with villains who wait straight out of 80s. The romance likewise is prolonged and seems never catastrophe
Management is decent Music by Hour are hummable but lack the hitting score variety Camera-work is good, VFX is not upwardly to the marking, especially the chariot fall scene
Salman Khan plays a double part, he underplays Yuvraj well and does a good job while equally Prem he endears, in comedy and romantic scenes At times we do have a typical Salman feeling in terms of dialogue delivery which is shaky at places but yet a decent performance. Sonam Kapoor however seems misfit for the role and doesn't convince much her dialogue commitment notwithstanding needs work Neil Nitin Mukesh is proficient equally the conniving brother, Armaan Kohli all the same needs to withal brush his human action later the nonsense Jaani Dushman. Swara Bhaskar is superb as always, Aashika Bhatia too is good Deepak Dobriyal is superb but is getting typecast equally the sidekick A talented actor like Sanjay Mishra is wasted in a stupid role rest are okay

Wasn't expecting such a weak and desperately written pic from the reputed makers.
Strangely, what Sooraj delivers in his much talked almost and awaited PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO after a gap of nine years, turns out to be nothing even comparable to his cult films, straight away reminding you of the two mistakes made in the by as HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN and MAIN PREM KI DIWANI HOON, clearly indicating towards no lessons learned from their big failures at all in a highly ignorant and casual way.
Giving you lot the clear motion-picture show, naught works in this latest venture of Rajshri-Sooraj-Salman, nothing any except the human Salman Khan, taking two steps backward from his final mega-striking BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN. The film neither has some great characterizations in its shockingly routine screenplay, nor any memorable well written sequences or simplistic dialogues continuing the tradition started by MAINE PYAR KIYA. Above all in PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO, the team comes up with such pathetically overused, clichéd storyline that makes y'all wonder that how confidently they go along on making films on the same stories once more & over again assuming the people to be dumb enough to go on on accepting them yr after yr with closed eyes without any complains every bit such. Yes, at times even the same stories become hugely entertaining due to the writer/director'southward exceptional novel handling & presentation. But sadly that is not visible anywhere in this moving-picture show that unexpectedly even starts boring the viewers in its second one-half.
Recalling the experience of watching it in the theater, I was really surprised to see only nada executed on screen with the backing of some solid writing (mail service the decent opening Ramlila sequence) and the moving-picture show progressing and so casually without incorporating whatever kind of much needed suspense or enjoyable tension involving the double role. In fact, a few catchy songs and comic scenes remain the just relief moments in its starting time half, with the second turning out to be then painfully long that you keep looking at your mobile/watch repeatedly every bit if information technology'south already gone beyond 3 hours shattering all kinds of expectations raised.
The bandage ensemble including a couple of forgotten names, seem to be only interested in carelessly completing their given jobs establishing no emotional connect with their ultimate viewers, contributing 'nothing'. And the names include veterans like Anupam Kher followed past Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and the snake-man Arman Kohli. To be fair, there is only ane person who randomly makes you laugh in his few scenes and he is Deepak Dobriyal who sadly remains under-utilized in the entire picture displaying a shocking lack of vision.
Rephrasing the above, in PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO we have two lovers just no loving chemical science between them despite the striking tracks, brothers and sisters with no depth in their vaguely written characters placed just to get united over again, villains with no emphasis given on their evil intentions or villainy and many deliberately inserted sequences similar the unexciting football match post interval defective the much- desired universal appeal and joy. Moreover except a couple of tricky compositions, both the lyricist and composer desperately proceed trying to go into the Ravindra Jain/Ram Laxman mood making a witting effort.
Ruining it further, information technology was hard to sympathize the director's obsession with the highly outdated mirror sequences towards the stop that had no amuse at all reminding y'all of the famous climax sequence of Bruce Lee's ENTER THE DRAGON. Too the never-ending final hour of the moving picture becomes and then tough to bear, exactly like watching the last few overs of a one day cricket match that has already been lost in its 40th over.
To be honest, in the unabridged film I kept wondering that,
A. Was this the story Sooraj R Barjatya kept searching for since 2006 which is conspicuously a take-off from famous novels such as "The Prisoner of Zenda" and "The Prince and the Pauper" (with the shades of BAWARCHI), already adjusted several times in the West as well as in numerous Hindi films irresolute the theme from Kings to Dons since the mid of terminal century? Ironically even Rajshri had earlier fabricated a film on the same subject equally RAKTA BANDHAN in the 80s.
B. Was this the moving picture Salman approved of - full of quondam time obsolete feel, based on a ridiculously stereotyped theme, having only a few engaging moments, at your face make promotion, lackluster background score, unimpressive 'big-empire' grandeur (that only worked in the promos) and loads of total length songs thrown in just like that, assuming that the viewers are still living somewhere in the 90s?
C. Or Was this a mess, wherein Sooraj was not immune to practise what he was willing to, with the major suggestions/interventions coming from the now much bigger STAR with no intentions of breaking through his own comfort zone?
In all, a big unexpected let-downward, PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO really has nothing Rajshri, Sooraj and Salman together are known for, not fifty-fifty the emotional warmth they used to offer in their earlier films.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a large letdown with poor direction, wafer-thin plot and messy drama. If yous are a die-hard fan of Salman, spotter it otherwise skip it
Sooraj Barjatya have been known for making quality movie house that spawned some successful films similar Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun.. , Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah boasting off the tradition and civilisation of Indian family with tuneful music and grandeur sets. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, his fourth collaboration with Salman Khan and after gap of 16 years, has created hype and soared sky-high expectations. Unfortunately, the family drama disappoints and volition exit you dissatisfied at the end.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo tells story of majestic family of Pritampur where a plot has been hatched to electrocute the young prince (Salman Khan) by his brother (Neil Nitin Mukesh) before the coronation takes place in the royal palace. A expect-a-like of the prince, Prem, steps in to save the day. Nevertheless, he falls in the love with bride-to-be of the prince(Sonam Kapoor).
At present Sooraj Barjatya has adapted the story from Anthony Promise's novel 'The Prisoner Of Zenda' (1894) and infused his family drama with typical vocal-drama routine. Primary of presenting the values of Indian civilisation and custom on silver screen innumerable times, Sooraj Barjatya gives you a fine first half with chiliad opening scene of Salman Khan and introduction of each character coupled with bit sense of humor. Till this bespeak, the movie is tolerable notwithstanding the second half tumbles downwards the rabbit hole and refuses to pick up. The screenplay is messy with as well much of things happening in quick succession and without any sensible reason. The trouble is Barjatya follows the aforementioned path of his previous films ( he fifty-fifty borrows the sports scene from Hum Aapke Hain Koun this time replaced past football in this ane) which actually become a mockery in the stop. Some other event is too many songs which is misplaced and is included in every x minutes between the scene. The climax which should have been the highlight of the flick is diluted with weak action choreography and melodrama.
Sooraj Barjatya ( besides credited with story and screenplay) is not in form this and conspicuously misses the mark. Coming from the manager who made some outstanding movie theater previously, I was disheartened. The editing(Sanjay Sankla) is half-baked with weak dialogues that will spoil your mood leaving you unsatisfied. Cinematography (Manikandan) is spell-bounden capturing the essence of Rajasthan and Gujrat. Art direction is eye-communicable. Kudos to Nitin Chandrikant Desai for always innovating with unique style. Groundwork score is jarring to ears. Music by Sanjoy Chowdhury and Himesh Reshammiya is tuneful just certainly non chart-bursting. Coming to the performances, in that location is merely ane reason to watch the pic – SALMAN KHAN. The superstar is getting better with his expressions and emotes well throughout the flick. He is adequately supported with fantastic performances by Anupam Kher and Deepak Dobriyal. The third and the terminal problem with the film is wrong casting (Vicky Sidana). Sonam Kapoor certainly does non fit to comport her part earnestly. It is loftier fourth dimension for her to seriously take her acting lessons properly ( She is part of the industry for 8 years). I feel bad for a talent similar Neil Nitin Mukesh getting wasted in one-half-broiled graphic symbol. Armaan Kohli is a letdown.
Overall, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a large letdown with poor direction, wafer-thin plot and messy drama. If you are a dice-hard fan of Salman, sentry otherwise skip it. Below average two/five

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Soch Ke Kuch Jayo, Dekh Ke Kuch Aayo! At present that's how you make a nearly-disastrous film.
Flick: Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (U)
Rating : 0.5/5
The best matter about PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO is that the calibration of production is truly beyond imagination in a family unit drama film similar this. The regal grandeur of the film, the sets, cinematography, visual furnishings are all wonderful. The makers have spent a lot of money in every frame of the moving-picture show to brand it wait epic, and that's visible in every frame of the moving picture. The activity scene of the film is very well choreographed and has a long lasting event on the viewers. Rather, the climax fight is the highlight of this motion-picture show. The emotional scenes are truly good, and likewise there are a couple of scenes that are watchable, especially in the first one-half, and in the final 20 minutes of the pic.
Secondly, Negatives of the film, which I feel, are as well many. Although Salman Khan acts well, his function isn't very new or of the kind we haven't seen before. His "Prem" character looks very similar to the Pawan of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN. Similarly, the part of Neil Nitin Mukesh seems poorly sketched. Also, despite of the fact that the moving-picture show'due south music is yard and pleasing, its continuous overdose causes thwarting. Also, the editing of the flick seems to be very poor. A family unit drama of a runtime petty less than 3 hours doesn't seem to be justified. The picture show could have been trimmed easily to around 2 and a half hours to give a amend and decent watch.
Not only this, the screenplay looks confused at a few places. The film starts off well and manages to hold the viewer till the interval, which seemed a little awkwardly placed. In the beginning of the motion-picture show, and towards the interval, information technology seemed that the moving-picture show had a different story, but the interval blockade, despite being a good ane, left me in total confusion. It seemed a petty likewise precipitous. Besides, the second one-half began with almost no connexion with what happened at the interval betoken. The changes in the story go on to confuse the viewer, despite of the fact that there was no scene of boredom. The movie continues to exist a simple and rather say, like any boilerplate Salman Khan moving picture, which we take seen a number of times.
As well, a moving-picture show similar this needs to have a improve promo or posters to give the feel as if it is a 1000 film releasing on a grand festival. Neither the promos nor the posters of the pic seemed equally heady as expected. The motion picture was heavily promoted as a family film, and as a Diwali blockbuster entertainer, only later watching information technology, I felt that the film was good, but not a blockbuster. Films releasing on Diwali often take something very special, which makes the festival even more than colourful than it looks. As compared to previous Diwali releases, PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO holds nothing special, when it's a Diwali release, and is rather a moving-picture show that could have been released on whatsoever normal day, equally a normal Salman Khan motion picture. Even then it would have become a success anyway. Then why release it on a highly anticipated festival like Diwali and make the viewers go with expectations high on superlative? Promoted as a family entertainer, the film has a few dialogues in which this word "family" is mentioned, simply the picture show actually turns out to be romantic entertainer, which no one would expect to run across on a festival like Diwali. It isn't the perfect Diwali entertainer, for which nosotros wait all the year.
Overall, PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO is a bad family (every bit promoted by the makers) picture which has its few elements going in the right place, although many negatives overshadow the positives of the motion-picture show. Due to its chiliad production, Salman Khan, and its releasing on a festival like Diwali, you may watch it one time, at least once. Simply sentry it with the lowest expectations you can, since it's not a perfect picture show to watch on Diwali. When I walked out of the theatre, I saw nearly people asking each other "Did you lot like the film or not?". This shows that their expectations were near broken, since many of them, like me, had booked the tickets in advance. To conclude, I would say just one matter about this film through following lines:- PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO - SOCH KE KUCH JAYO, DEKH KE KUCH AAYO!
This was a revised review. I at present realize how this motion-picture show had just a few expert things and the rest of the picture was merely a melo-disaster!

Incredibly Beautiful Picture show-- in Scope and Emotion
I almost didn't watch this movie due to the repetitive negative reviews here on IMDb. Ordinarily I find reviews here adequately spot-on. But in this instance I am convinced we are living in a generation of viewers who have been raised on so much schlock, sexual practice, violence, blood and foul language that they wouldn't recognize a prime flick if information technology whacked them with a hammer. Either that or we have a set of the most artificial witch-hunt reviews always.
I could count the number of films I would give x stars and still have some toes left. This moving-picture show has everything-- terrific cinematography, good acting (yes, a piddling hokey in places: intentionally so), a script that if i has a eye at all should bring tears to the optics repeatedly, humorous moments, fun moments, bad decisions, cede, redemption, hundreds of supporting actors, the virtually incredibly huge ready I have ever seen in any moving picture (they congenital an entire palace!) -- too every bit the total gamut of drama mixed with comedy, music and dance.
Many others take discussed the claim of the movie itself; they have done well enough that I don't have to re-hash. What I will focus on is the incredible number of negative reviews nowadays here. Nosotros detect a big number of the reviews are like or identical in writing style. That stands out very clearly-- which is highly suspect. Secondly, a large number of those reviews merits to be written from differing cities in India, yet are all in perfect, pristine English language. "Most boring film I've always seen." Nosotros come across this phrase repeatedly, in nigh identical words.
At that place are too many people giving this 7+ stars and even 10 stars (unusual to see on IMDb) to believe the legitimacy of the number of ane-star "worst movie ever" reviews. Such paradox is only difficult to accept every bit valid.
All I know is I'thou in the U.S., I and my sis watched the movie together, and we both loved information technology. I can be very critical of films and for sure I take seen some real stinkers in my day-- but this movie definitely is not one of them. This has song, dance, a delightful story... and touches the heart more than once. Have your hanky set up.
Please, feel free to consider the negative reviews as suspect (at the very least)-- and give this movie a attempt. The all-time and well-nigh valid review is your own.

A Bit Regressive Hither, a Scrap Outdated In that location, just Innocently Endearing and Naively Charming on the Whole
Alert: Spoilers
Reviewed by: Cartel Devil Child (DDK)
Rating: iii/5 stars
"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" flows freely and the story moves forth nicely whilst establishing the characters. However, the biggest problem with the movie lies in its conflict, which doesn't seem to be likewise problematic to really evoke business afterwards on when everything gets resolved. But this doesn't create an issue with the proceedings considering Salman Khan's Prem Dilwale character keeps us entertained with his innocent antics and simplistic charm. Most of the audiences should love Salman'southward human action.
The climax between the dual characters of Salman and Neil Nitin Mukesh, and the scene where the doppelganger Prem posing as Prince Vijay Singh mends ties with the prince's step-sisters stand up out equally real tearjerkers. In that location are a few absurdities like the placement of a palace on the edge of a waterfall, and a few dialogues and actions sound and experience regressive as well as outdated. Additionally, though the pic looks opulent, and clearly a lot of money has been spent on the sets and the costumes, the visual effects aren't the best you've seen equally compared to recent Bollywood fare, and the editing could take been tighter, as well, but as we all know, Director Sooraj Barjatya believes in excesses, which isn't such a bad thing considering the timing of the motion picture's release.
However, at the terminate of its 160 minute duration, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" manages to make everyone grin, and the emotional moments work in their own innocuous, innocent, albeit naive way. The film thoroughly entertains with very few dull moments if y'all tin can immerse yourself in the world depicted on-screen.

Not worth the look......
Rajhshree Productions has fabricated a reputation of giving overnice family oriented movies. The expectations were loftier following "Maine Pyar Kiya," "Hum Aapke Hain Koun," "Vivaah," and "Hum Saath Saath Hain." Just this time the expectations haven't been met, and the picture simply backfires and leaves y'all cheated. A weak adaptation of "The Prince and the Pauper", the story is too dramatic which feels lightheaded at times and way the things are resolved just highlights the weakness in story telling. The film fails to create the time period of the plot. Besides, the performances are also mediocre. Salman's role is non dissimilar than that in "Bajrangi Bhaijan," with the similar diction and dialogues which becomes adequate. Actually, his characterization looks a chip tailor made and has glibness. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonam Kapoor are both mediocre in terms of roles and performances. Anupam Kher looks surprisingly skilful in his role. If there is anything to adore in the film, information technology's the beautiful sets and few practiced songs, which doesn't brand the film a total let downwardly.

Unbalanced mixture of family unit emotions, action and thrill
Warning: Spoilers
Managing director is master of showcasing family drama simply this time he choose to mix it with some other emotions, which misled him to make a slow flick. He preferred to give entry of mail leads equally like mass entertainer type. Story is stale. Screenplay rarely offers whatsoever fresh approach but dialogues past Aash Karan Atal improve few scenes supported past adept performance. Motion picture incorporates old type of sub plot like step siblings rivalry, common homo loving a queen. All these plots could take worked if they are weaved wisely. To lure regional audience they even insert Gujrati and Punjabi touch of scenes and words. Master strength of this film is it's beauty and major problem is laidback dearest scenes. Most of the emotional scenes fall flat. This is story of 2015 kingdom but still they use swords, spears and suddenly villain flashes heavy machine gun in climax? Rajkumari comes in chopper is said initially then she arrives in train for a one thousand Shahi event? That football vocal for uniting family is quite weird because information technology was never established that the girl is football game freak. Even they don't mind to utilise any signature twist in plot as if all are illiterate. Pre climax fight is just irritating. Little emotional touch in climax is a relief. Operation wise Salman Khan is very good in light moment scenes. Deepak Dobrial as Kanhaiya is prove stopper. He is too good in every frame. Sonam Kapoor looks pretty for sure but what about acting. Rest are but OK. Music wise title track is melodious and visuals are just stunning of this song.

I wasn't even expecting anything and yet I'm disappointed
Let's make this admittedly clear. I hate Sooraj Barjatya. He'south the reason why family gatherings look so campy. And just when we were relieved nosotros shall never take to see his atrocious movies once more, he struck back with this. THIS! And no, he didn't fifty-fifty maintain that level. He stooped it even lower.
Everything about this flick is bad. Simply directly up bad. Salman Khan looks ugly, the dialogues are atrocious, the story is poor, the acting is terrible, the music brings tears to my eyes (because I can't stand the torture), the visuals are unoriginal. I have no idea how on world does this movie have a higher budget than Baahubali.
And of class there are the fillers. Because information technology'south a Sooraj Barjatya movie. How can we not accept Salman Khan playing football game with all the guests who are divided in the teams of men and women? And at that place'southward literally a song in which Salman Khan is singing whether he should take spinach for the princess or carrots. I literally rolled my optics when that song played.
The only adept thing about this picture show is Neil Nitin Mukesh. And you lot know how bad your movie has to be when he's the all-time thing nigh it. If this film wasn't free on Hotstar I'd accept never watched information technology. Later on Bajrangi Bhaijaan this was a huge letdown. I'd say skip it.

Some other classic Rajshri family motion picture. Salman Khan'south Prem Dilwala graphic symbol will become iconic.
Alert: Spoilers
Sooraj Barjatya is one of India'due south finest filmmakers and this has been proved again in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, they just don't make films like this anymore, in the busy rustle, and tussle of life we have forgotten what family is, and its importance. Well like Salman Khan says "Sooraj Babu"is back, and volition teach us the meaning of family, and how to deal with relationships. PRDP is a moving-picture show which cleanses you lot and makes you feel expert. One feels like hugging in that location loved ones later on leaving the movie house, and that is a huge win for the Rajshri stable. Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Main Pyare Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Vivah, are all classics some of the best Hindi films ever made and they are all directed by Sooraj Barjayta, what a superb rail record!Well its now time to add Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to that list of classics.Just put PRDP is a masterpiece family film, which the whole family unit can see, and enjoy. The films huge grandeur, the amazing music, the stellar cast, and higher up all Salman Khan has given what can be called as i career all-time performances are Prem Dilwala. He has never been so entertaining on screen earlier, but more on that later.
Story wise Yuvraj Vijay Singh is injured in an attack by disgruntled family only days before his coronation and the arrival of his fiancée, Princess Maithili. While the prince recuperates in a hush-hush chamber inside the royal fort, his lookalike Prem, a small-fourth dimension entertainer from a nearby town, is discreetly recruited to take his identify and then the formalities can become off without a hitch. What happens next forms the rest of the plot.
Acting wise Salman Khan is just amazing. As Prem Dilwala he volition win the hearts of all the movie going audience, this is i of his most memorable characters. The innocence, the comedy, and the way Prem romances is just too entertaining. Well all know Salman Khan is synonymous with Prem, only this new Prem Dilwala is going to go a iconic graphic symbol. As Vijay he does a great job too.Sonam Kapoor plays her function with complete grace, and her and Salman'south chemistry is perfect. She looks extremely beautiful. Anupam Kher is in fine form, and impresses throughout. Deepak Dobrayal is hilarious. Armaan Kohli, and Neil Nithin Mukesh annoy. Swara Baskhar is good.
The impact of PRDP is huge, and I saw one such example in theaters today when a uncle and his family unit sitting side by side to me where crying in a crucial scene where Prem gives his palace to his sisters. That lonely proves the film is a winner. The films mounted on a huge scale, its grandeur is a spectacle for ones optics. The palaces, the colors its all breathtaking. PRDP has the years all-time music, with the title track, and Aaj Unse Milna, being revered as classics. Salman Khan as Prem Diwala has created a character for the ages. Only the films biggest strengths are in its emotions, its tradition values, its simplicity and its message that family unit is everything. The sequence where Prem writes off everything to his sisters is the films highlight and proves all the above mentioned. And the films first one-half where comedy is at the fore front is amusement and laughter to the max.As well don't miss out on the superb soccer sequence. I can continue and on about why I love PRDP, but I'd like to answer some questions which I accept seen people saying, and asking about the film. That Isn't PRDP old-fashioned, isn't it too traditional nobody is like that anymore. My reply to this is go to theaters with your family lookout man the moving-picture show, so tell if you feel the same. Because aye the story is predictable and a bit one-time fashioned but this does non affair because the ongoings are so entertaining, and and then cute ( and what did yous except from a Rajshri motion picture, and after watching the trailer). The only thing I didn't like about PRDP was the villain track of Neil Nithin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli, information technology was very annoying. Just this a very very minor blemish.
Overall like I stated before I tin can go along and on near why I loved PRDP and why its my personal favorite film of the yr. People might telephone call me biased because I am a Salman Khan fan, simply when reviewing films I exit all biases aside, this film is truly a archetype, masterpiece family unit picture in my opinion that will etched in Hindi cinema history forever. In my whole life I take never seen a film in Surrey BC exist house total at 11:50 am on a Thursday, thats the PRDP issue. Its beyond the fact the film will interruption every box office record, just this moving picture is a must picket for all families because it will make you experience practiced and cleanse you. Its the Rajshri effect, this is what a traditional Hindi film should be like, its a flashback to the 90s and if your a Salman Khan its a double dhamka run to the theaters. Finally, thank you Sooraj Babu India's finest filmmaker for PRDP.

Rajshri has a decent work in this Salman motion picture
Sooraj Barjatiya-Salman khan duo has given all superhit films in 90s and after a decade they are back with PRDP. Start of all, the moving picture starts with usual Salman'due south dramatic entrance. The movie had content, a little flake story but not so proficient interim. The film is no doubt a family moving-picture show simply would have been more than meliorate if was supported by good interim. The songs were skilful enough to fit in the conditions for the movie. I still don't know why Sonam was selected as the atomic number 82 for the motion-picture show but however she managed to human action her part anyway. The same old Salman useless dialogues, poor dance of him makes the motion picture a flake shabby. Overall the movie was a decent watch equally It is a family entertainer. I would become with 3/v for this new Salman starrer.

An atrocious moving-picture show
Information technology's a major pity that S.Bharjatiya who gave us two gems in "Hum Saath Saath Hain"and Hum Aapke Hai Kaun gave usa such a clammy squib in "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".This nearly 3hr long movie was bad in every way viz.very very very poor script, direction, and acting. They were many many unwanted songs which were all very bad.Like his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif,Salman Khan is a non-actor who for some strange not-explainable reason is able to churn out hit after hitting with his horrible movies.Every unmarried person in the movie including Anupam Kher acted very poorly. All in all it's a long, dull, dreary, tedious, cumbersome and awful flick, which I fear, yet again will be a major box part striking considering of Salman Khan and Salman Khan

Fairy Tale Entertainment : Not Bad
Only Salman Khan with his twinkling mischievous optics and tongue in cheek style of acting can make such plots enjoyable.
This is a fairy tale feel adept beloved story with lavish sets, stunning scenery, exotic costumes and a plot that doesn't pretend to be annihilation other than amusement.
Salman as the look alike of the prince is of course typical Salman, making this flick eminently watchable. He has a knack of making the viewer enjoy the most slapstick and the virtually ridiculous of themes. Well done Salman!
Sonam Kapoor was charming, essaying the role of a sweetness immature princess rather well. She gets a lot of flak for her acting and obsession with fashion only I feel she is good in roles like this, in Bhag Milkha Bhag, Dolly ki Doli, Ranjhana and similar. Sonam gives the impression of beingness sweet natured in real life as well. At this age if ane is not fashion witting especially being a picture actress, so when should one be? Naught wrong in that at all.
Anupam Kher is a class histrion and expectedly portrayed his role as the late Maharaja's trusted Dewan saheb very well indeed.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo does not pretend to be an art motion-picture show. It is out and out fairly tale entertainment with lavish sets, cute costumes and plenty of song and dance sequences. If anything, I found the songs likewise many simply as I was watching on DVD I had the luxury of the fast forward button :)
The them song Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is catchy and superb. I've been humming information technology for quite some time and yesterday while watching the picture I cranked upwardly the volume existent high when the vocal played.
All in all worth a lookout man, though non necessarily the endeavor of going to the theatre. Its showing on TV on February 14th Valentine's Day. How apt.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is indeed an entertainer.
Warning: Spoilers
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was a much awaited moving picture by Sooraj Barjatya. Prem is back. Today, I realized that, I am also Sooraj Barjatya's fan. I take loved his earlier movies viz. Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Sath Sath Hain, Vivah etc. Sooraj's USP is to show movies with family values, where individuals grow beyond their self- interest. He does project characters with a bit of grey shades, just dwells more than upon the positivity, feel-good factors in his films. Information technology could be possible that everybody may not like Sooraj'southward movies. I have always loved the feel of his movies and I must acknowledge that I loved Prem Ratan Dhan Payo as well. At the same time I volition non shy away from saying that this film is far-fetched from reality. The film has larger than life sail, a grand palatial palace, extravagant sets, songs, anticipated plot etc. The hero, who gets injured after falling from height, tin can stand up on his feet with a small bandage on his back within a span of 4-five days - how is it possible? The villain, who can go to the extent of attempting murder of his family fellow member, tin repent and reconcile on the spur of a moment, which definitely is not so convincing. In that location is equally such no suspense at all in the film. The moving picture uses the formulae of conflicts inside the family unit members, efforts to set things right, clear distinction between black and white, reunite the estranged family members etc. The reasons for the enmity, vengeance by the family members were not properly established, which leaves the audition with a disconnect. I was besides forced to think that why Salman in his all latest movies is shown as a devotee of God equally well as he is shown to be standing for a cause. Is it intentional? In spite of all these factors, the thought subsequently watching Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is "So What!!!" This flick could bring smile on lot of faces. Indeed in that location are moments of joy, laughter, values, family unit togetherness etc.
The film begins with Dilwalon ki Ramleela. Chaubey ji (Sanjay Mishra) organizes this Ramleela, who does non have any qualms in making his Ramleela team compromise with inferior materials, shoes etc. The only person, whom he listens to is Prem (Salman Khan). Prem makes a grand entry into the Ramleela venue. Prem collects a part of his income for altruistic information technology to a charitable foundation Uphaar. The connection between Prem and Uphaar is Princess Maithili (Sonam Kapoor), whom he had seen while rescuing flood victims. Prem was instantly infatuated with Maithili. He discusses his desire with his friend Kanhaiya (Deepak Dobriyal) to meet her and both of them decide to become to Delhi where she runs her Uphaar foundation. Later, when Prem comes to know that she is coming to Pritampur for the coronation of her fiancée Yuvraaj Vijay singh, he decides to go there.
Frames shift to Pritampur, where preparations are on for the coronation of Yuvraaj Vijay Singh (Salman Khan in double role). Diwan (Anupam Kher) suggests Yuvraaj Vijay Singh that his two sisters should go to station to welcome and receive princess Maithili and that is when audience gets the feel that in that location is disharmonize within the family. On Diwan's insistence, Vijay Singh goes to meet his two estranged sisters Chandrika (Swara Bhaskar) and Radhika (Aashika Bhatia). Chandrika is not ready to interact with Vijay Singh without her lawyer Mr. Bhandari's presence. Vijay walks out and on his way dorsum, he falls prey to the pre-planned conspiracy and gets desperately injured in an attack. While he fights his life's battle in a secret segment of the royal fort, Prem and Kanhaiya are spotted by Vijay Singh's close aide and brought to Pritampur. And the suspense is lifted that Vijay's younger step brother Ajay (Neil Nitin Mukesh) is backside this conspiracy. Diwan plans to bring Prem and Kanhaiya to the fort as Vijay Singh and as an esteemed lensman respectively.
What happens thereafter? How Prem moulds himself in Vijay Singh'south role? Is he able to leave his mannerisms of a nautankiwala and become a sophisticated prince Vijay Singh. Is he able to generate seeds of love in Maithili's centre? Is he able to reunite Vijay's estranged step sisters – Chandrika and Radhika and bring them back to fort? Is he able to ignore his own love for Maithili for Vijay'due south sake? What happens to Maithili and Prem's love? What happens, when Maithili comes to know that she is loving Prem who is not the real Prince Vijay Singh? Does the family unit unite together e'er, if yeah, how? How does Prince Vijay react and respond to the changes which Prem has brought in? Maithili decides to cull whom- Prem or Vijay? Is Prem able to sacrifice his beloved for Maithili? Watch the film.
Salman is there in every frame, which definitely sets the entertainment quotient of the flick. Sooraj Barjatya has given a perfect Diwali care for to Salman Khan fans through his style of picture show-making. Sooraj has washed what he is best at. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is indeed an entertainer in spite of its predictable plot and his typical formulae of family based movies in an opulent style. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has its ain moments of entertainment.

Action, Romance and Family
This retelling of the Prisoner of Zenda is a thoroughly enjoyable Diwali film full of action, romance, and family. Salman Kahn did an beauteous task of playing the dual roles, but Sonam Kapoor was a bit stilted. The supporting cast was good, the music fun, and the archetype plot a pleasure.

Seriously?
Alert: Spoilers
I made a personal history with this film: it is the get-go film always in my life during which I took a break to offer prayers without pausing the film. I merely permit information technology run so that the torture less a few minutes less for me.
Merely I must add together here though that I watched this film with constant smile and laughter, only thinking how can anyone come up up with such a slice of nonsense.
Ii worst things were the music, and was like 38 songs I think(!), and the almost three-hr long length of the film. Both of these should be logged every bit criminal offences in my view.
And no, I don't wish to simply make fun of Sooraj Barjatya thinking that his films are not meant for this historic period and era, because I am sure he tin come up with better stuff than this at least. This too hasn't got bad basis: a person in place of some other one whose much more than calm and loving approach allows him to tackle things in a amend way. But everything surrounding this thought and fifty-fifty the application of this itself is programme nonsense.

Even an average Barjatiya film is an easy watch.
Alert: Spoilers
PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO - Its hard to say that Barjatiya'south movies are outdated for present audition. At any role of the twenty-four hour period anyone will similar to see MPK or HAHK or HSSH or Vivav. Yes we can skip Principal Prem Ki Dewani Hoon. But aye i would like to say that Barjatiya has to modify his treatment on some of the things , take number of songs every bit example. This is a comeback of PREM , and a treat to sentinel (although nothing new what we haven't seen recently).Tin't say anything almost the story as the plot is too simple and predictable. Its not new to Barjatiya's flick. He never utilise to shock united states of america. So why exactly nosotros watch a Sooraj Barjatiya picture. Because of the moments. Which brand us express mirth & cry. Unluckily those moments are far less in this moving picture. Which made this pic a long , sometime enjoyable , sometimes plan matter. Its too truthful that present disputes in a family don't get resolved in a manner like Barjatiya utilise to practice 20 years before. Nonetheless its skillful to sentinel but difficult to get blown away by information technology. When it comes to acting . its funny that i find the characters played by actors so similar to the characters played by themselves in some other film. Salmaan as Prem Dilwale is too similar to Pawan Kumar from Bajrangi Bhaijan and the other character he players of prince Vijay Singh felt like Chulbul Pandey in an aroused mood has been called to do the prince character.Although Salmaan was good in both the characters merely he didn't mastered them similar he did in Dabang and BB.Same goes for NItin Mukesh doing the same character he did in Players. His role was too small and haven't done anything infrequent. My favorite Deja Vu was Armaan Kohli who looked similar he is straight out of JAANI DUSHMAN'due south shooting and was however in that character only. He is a really bad actor. And its was a bad decision to cast him as the antagonist. Sonam Kapoor not repeating any of his previous character looked beautiful , merely i didn't felt the royalness in her.I mean she was interim too casually for being a princess. Summing up the acting section , the best and truly believable grapheme in the picture was played by Anupam Kher of 'VIRGIN BAPUU'(aye thats what Prem Dilwale calls him). In that location is nothing to say about the grand sets and costumes as from the showtime released picture of the movie it was clear that the film will look corking anyhow. Only the things which made the motion-picture show a fiddling outdated were the Melodrama , too many not so good songs , and bad editing. Director must have thought that Himesh is not quite a Music Director for making songs which can tie upward the audition to the seats. And yes i accept said this a lot of times that Melodrama is something which should eradicated from the nowadays Bollywood. That doesn't mean that emotional scene are not required but they demand to exist done in a realistic manner. The climax of the moving picture is besides stretched and will sense of taste your patience. Aye its a family movie , but i think that n the way of connecting the families Barjatiya may go cutting out from the youth which is the Biggest audience of the country. If you want to see nothing out of the box with whole of your family , in which nothing tragic will happen , where the whole story from the start is clear and y'all know that how everything will exist fine at the terminate , then this is a movie for you. As for myself i would say that at any day an boilerplate movie by Barjatiya is an easy spotter. vi.half-dozen/10. And yes i would like to say that i would be very disappointed if just considering of festival season and Salmaan Khan this picture will cross 300 crore. By ANuP APu KuMaR

A Salman picture show all the manner !!
Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya coming together after over two decades should have definitely been a momentous occasion for all fans but unfortunately it is not. The film is not bad but at that place is something missing as compared to the earlier Barjatya movies like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
Story: Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) has a elementary plot and tells the story of a royal family unit, family feuds, ability struggle amid siblings, illegitimate children fathered by kings etc.
The pic has Salman Khan in a double part, which should certainly enhance its box office collections since you go 2 Salman'south for the toll of i (we could have washed with a tertiary one too if the plot had permitted !!!! )
In 1 of his 2 roles, Salman is a Ramleela actor who, forth with a friend (Deepak Dobriyal), finds himself in the middle of a plot to eliminate a righteous prince (also played by Salman) who is days away from his coronation. The would-exist king has enemies in the palace. So a trusted minister (Anupam Kher) hatches a plot to save him by installing a lookalike in his place.
The efforts put in past the lookalike in society to bring together the real prince's estranged family comprising of brother Neil Nitin Mukesh, 2 step sisters and his cute fiancée , Sonam Kapoor forms the crux of the plot.
Cast: Salman plays both the roles earnestly namely: 1)Ramleela actor, Prem Dilwale who provides the much required comic relief in the film with his witty one-liners. 2)The righteous Prince Vijay who suffers a savage set on on his life just days before his coronation.
Sonam Kapoor: Looks great equally she always does. Decent job washed.
Neil Nitin Mukesh: Looks great every bit the prince's estranged brother, but there are very few scenes where he tin actually testify his acting prowess. His office has either suffered at the editing table or it hasn't been properly etched out.
Arman Kohli: Looks great for a change equally the adversary, merely once more like Neil Nitin Mukesh, does not have a office which can create an impact.
Residue of the bandage namely Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and others exercise a decent job. Sanskari Babuji (Alok Nath is sorely missed in the film!!)
Songs: As well many of them in the motion-picture show, apart from the lead number, all others are passable.
Direction: Barjatya does a good job merely has to remain in tune with the times as plot is stale and seems dated especially with scenes like the Price traveling on a horse carriage and the princess traveling in an ordinary train. VFX is used to create a magnificent Sheesh-Mahal at the edge of a menacing waterfall.
Y'all have to requite him credit though for the tasteful recreation of Rajasthan's royalty which is enhanced by the groovy locales.
See this flick if :
1) you lot are a die hard Salman Khan fan
two) a truthful Sooraj Barjatya fan
3) Dimaag baju main rakhkar picture dekhne ki aadat hai. A normal trait seen among Salman fans .
My Verdict :
three Stars ( 2 and a half for the movie and an boosted half star for Prem Dilwale'south earnestness)

Besides Long and Too Sweet !!
Sooraj Barjatya and Ekta Kapoor are ii sides of one coin. Where Barjatya's movies accept all lovable and caring characters barring one bad guy, Ekta Kapoor is exactly reverse. One skilful grapheme and the remainder scheming. At that place is no grey in their world.
So PRDP is i too sweetness and too long film. Barjatya creates 1 fictional world which is non reality. Thats fine simply he tends to over do it. And this time, he gets Salman with him with whom he gave monstrous hits a few decades back.
The pic is remake of a English volume chosen 'The Prisoner of Zenda' and could have been a decent flick had Barjatya not sugar coated it and let the editor did his task. The film is at least half hour too long. To make matters worse, baring one or ii songs, none are melodious and that slows down the movie. HAHK worked because of its melodious songs but hither it falls flat.
Salman is in fine form and is comfortable playing the double role of a Prince and a commoner. And he under plays information technology well and rarely goes over the peak. Notwithstanding his fans must exist disappointed because of the staple of comedy action films he has feed u.s. upward with. I would also blame Barjatya here for non using Salman'south comic timing to use. He and Deepak Dobriyal would accept lit the screen on fire with their comic timing something similar to Salman and Nawazuddin in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Sonam is again disappointing. She lacks the innocence of Bhagyashree and Amrita Rao, the maturity of Tabu and Sonali Bendre and the playfulness of Karishma Kapoor. And I don't desire her to compare with Madhuri because I'll exist committing a law-breaking by doing so. And worse, she cannot create her ain make of a Barjatya heroine.
Anupam Kher, Doobriyal, Niel Mukesh and Swara Bhaskar do well in their roles though Neil starts to ham a scrap. And Arman Kohli is skilful every bit the villain.
Finally, Salman saves the 24-hour interval only Mr. Barjatya, delight modify the style before its also tardily.

Large error is what it is!
Warning: Spoilers
If i want to watch movies of those good old days i'll lookout man Hum Saath Saath Hai and Maine Pyaar Kiya again. What was shown in this movie doesn't happen anymore. Why is it important that every fellow member of the family should be platonic or will suddenly realize his/her mistakes and bring together the family happily?
I really similar early Badjatya movies. They were so feel proficient and 'they alive happily e'er after' kind of movies. But time changed and film makers should move on and experiment. Vivah was OK, and so they came upward with Ek Vivah aisa Bhi and then this.
And then at that place were songs. Too many of them. Songs were there were there was no need.
I know its good to have a movie on weekend which the whole family tin can savour together, but fifty-fifty my family was bored somewhere around interval.

Its imperfect, but a necessity of current fourth dimension
Alert: Spoilers
This movie consisted several things that I hated, and hence it took me v years to requite it a shot. I typically don't see a movie with Salman or Sonam in it, later on previous experiences and the complete lack of attempt and logic that tags along these stars.
And this movie for a lot many parts, just more of the same. Be it the brutal melodrama, or the senselessness at several pivotal points where a Sheeshmahal made for kids breaks downward repeatedly and proves to be the almost dangerous identify you can exist at, when information technology falls apart from one guy standing on the top of information technology. And similar events happen throughout the movie, which leaves you wondering whether this movie is fifty-fifty made for a sane person, only this is expected with the starcast.
What made me watch this motion picture was Sooraj Barjatya, and I have rated this movie majorly every bit a Sooraj Barjatya moving picture. The movie fails here also, just non as magnanimously. Still, the emotional family unit elements are by and large illogical, in your face up, melodramatic and still non exactly groundbreaking as we've seen in previous Barjatya movies like Vivah and Hum Aapke Hai kaun.
So, what exactly put me through the 3 hours? I more often than not stop movies in between if I struggle much, but the innocence, the music, the setting and at some points, the reflection of older Barjatya movies saves it for me. And above all the rarity of such movies in the past decade helps as well. PRDP is at some point unique enough to exist seen in this day and age, and is definitely the best endeavor at recreating the older charm of Salman and Barjatya right at present. We can run across the efforts been put in, and that'southward respectable.

Worst Acting
This is one of the worst actings of Salman Khan and Sonam. For that matter I think Sonam cannot human action at all and no expressions.
I am a fan of Bharjatiya films but was disappointed with this one.

If y'all accept an IQ of a retard, you will like this
The amount of money this picture show has made just shows you lot how retarded the masses are. People who liked this movie either have zero IQ or have never seen the existent world or have never watched something decent or are utterly delusional. Wonder what they smoked while making this picture? a 4 twelvemonth old could have written a better script and an 8 year former could take done better equally a director. If this is the standard of movies making coin at present then forget about watching whatsoever quality stuff in the virtually futurity. Just when you thought Bollywood was turning a corner, it has gone dorsum to the night ages and and then some. An yes you are a RETARD if you lot like this motion picture, you lot should meet a psychiatrist if yous actually idea this was anything but an utter waste material of time, money and everything.
